New Year at Canterbury Shaker Village. This photograph was taken at the Shaker Village during almost white out conditions on New Years Day, 2011.
The Canterbury Shaker Village is a working museum, founded to preserve the heritage of the original Canterbury Shakers. The Village has numerous restored Shaker buildings, a museum store and gift shop, the popular restaurant, Greenwoods, and 694 acres of forests, fields, gardens, nature trails, and mill ponds. They host numerous classes and gatherings throughout the year. I encourage you to visit the Village if in the area. It is well worth a trip . . . or two! Their website is http://www.shakers.org/.
This panoramic image will be printed on Canson’s Edition Etching Rag, a warm cotton, museum-quality paper. The print measures 7.5 x 17 and is printed on 13 x 19 archival paper. The cost is $60 including shipping (continental US).
